Materials Data on HfVAu2 by Materials Project
HfVAu2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two HfVAu2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Hf is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Hf–Au bond lengths are 2.62 Å. V is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both V–Au bond lengths are 2.64 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hf and one V atom.
