Materials Data on HfSiTc2 by Materials Project
HfTc2Si crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two HfTc2Si ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Hf4+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tc atoms. Both Hf–Tc bond lengths are 2.34 Å. Tc is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one Hf4+ and one Si4- atom. The Tc–Si bond length is 2.30 Å. Si4- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Tc atoms.
