Materials Data on HfPbO3 by Materials Project

PbHfO3 is (Cubic) Perovskite structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Hf4+ is bonded to six equivalent O2- atoms to form HfO6 octahedra that share corners with six equivalent HfO6 octahedra and faces with eight equivalent PbO12 cuboctahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 0°. All Hf–O bond lengths are 2.08 Å. Pb2+ is bonded to twelve equivalent O2- atoms to form PbO12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PbO12 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PbO12 cuboctahedra, and faces with eight equivalent HfO6 octahedra. All Pb–O bond lengths are 2.94 Å. O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hf4+ and four equivalent Pb2+ atoms.

Materials Data on HfPbO3 by Materials Project

PbHfO3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pbam space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Hf4+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form corner-sharing HfO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 9–23°. There are a spread of Hf–O bond distances ranging from 2.05–2.17 Å. There are two inequivalent Pb2+ sites. In the first Pb2+ site, Pb2+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Pb–O bond distances ranging from 2.57–2.96 Å. In the second Pb2+ site, Pb2+ is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four O2- atoms. There are a spread of Pb–O bond distances ranging from 2.50–2.69 Å. There are five inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Hf4+ and two equivalent Pb2+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Hf4+ and two equivalent Pb2+ atoms. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to two equivalent Hf4+ and two equivalent Pb2+ atoms. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Hf4+ and two equivalent Pb2+ atoms. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Hf4+ and two Pb2+ atoms.
