Materials Data on HfCrAu2 by Materials Project
HfCrAu2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two HfCrAu2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Hf is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Hf–Au bond lengths are 2.61 Å. Cr is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Cr–Au bond lengths are 2.64 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hf and one Cr atom.
