Materials Data on HfBe2Pt by Materials Project
Be2HfPt crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Be2HfPt ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hf and one Pt atom. The Be–Hf bond length is 2.53 Å. The Be–Pt bond length is 2.06 Å. Hf is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms.
