Materials Data on Hf2CuNi by Materials Project
Hf2NiCu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Hf2NiCu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Hf is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ni and one Cu atom. The Hf–Ni bond length is 2.20 Å. The Hf–Cu bond length is 2.59 Å. Ni is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hf atoms. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hf atoms.
