Materials Data on NdHSe by Materials Project
NdHSe crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd3+ is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent H1- and six equivalent Se2- atoms. All Nd–H bond lengths are 2.32 Å. All Nd–Se bond lengths are 3.06 Å. H1- is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent Nd3+ atoms. Se2- is bonded to six equivalent Nd3+ atoms to form a mixture of face, edge, and corner-sharing SeNd6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 44°.
