Materials Data on Ge3Pd by Materials Project
PdGe3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pd is bonded to twelve equivalent Ge atoms to form PdGe12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent PdGe12 cuboctahedra, edges with twenty-four equivalent GeGe8Pd4 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent PdGe12 cuboctahedra, and faces with twelve equivalent GeGe8Pd4 cuboctahedra. All Pd–Ge bond lengths are 2.93 Å. Ge is bonded to four equivalent Pd and eight equivalent Ge atoms to form GeGe8Pd4 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent GeGe8Pd4 cuboctahedra, edges with eight equivalent PdGe12 cuboctahedra, edges with sixteen equivalent GeGe8Pd4 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent PdGe12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fourteen equivalent GeGe8Pd4 cuboctahedra. All Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.93 Å.
