Materials Data on YbGePt by Materials Project

YbPtGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pt and six equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Yb–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.99–3.29 Å. There are a spread of Yb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.06–3.22 Å. Pt is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Yb and four equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.56–2.73 Å. Ge is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Yb and four equivalent Pt atoms.

Materials Data on Yb2(GePt3)3 by Materials Project

Yb2(Pt3Ge)3 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb3+ is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to eleven Pt2- atoms. There are a spread of Yb–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.95–3.20 Å. There are five inequivalent Pt2- sites. In the first Pt2- site, Pt2- is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Yb3+ and three Ge4+ atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.54–2.69 Å. In the second Pt2- site, Pt2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Yb3+ and two Ge4+ atoms. There are one shorter (2.46 Å) and one longer (2.49 Å) Pt–Ge bond lengths. In the third Pt2- site, Pt2- is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Yb3+ and three Ge4+ atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.52–2.71 Å. In the fourth Pt2- site, Pt2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Yb3+ and two equivalent Ge4+ atoms. Both Pt–Ge bond lengths are 2.48 Å. In the fifth Pt2- site, Pt2- is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Yb3+ and three Ge4+ atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.63–2.87 Å. There are two inequivalent Ge4+ sites. In the first Ge4+ site, Ge4+ is bonded in a distorted hexagonal bipyramidal geometry to eight Pt2- atoms. In the second Ge4+ site, Ge4+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight Pt2- atoms.

Materials Data on Yb2Ge6Pt by Materials Project

Yb2PtGe6 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Amm2 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Yb sites. In the first Yb site, Yb is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to ten Ge atoms. There are a spread of Yb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.07–3.30 Å. In the second Yb site, Yb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pt and ten Ge atoms. All Yb–Pt bond lengths are 3.14 Å. There are a spread of Yb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.15–3.50 Å. Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Yb and five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.44–2.57 Å. There are six inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Yb, two equivalent Pt, and five Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.48 Å) and four longer (2.90 Å) Ge–Ge bond lengths. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Yb and five Ge atoms. All Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.90 Å. In the third Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six Yb and two equivalent Ge atoms. Both Ge–Ge bond lengths are 2.47 Å. In the fourth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to six Yb, one Pt, and two equivalent Ge atoms. In the fifth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Yb and five Ge atoms. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.48 Å. In the sixth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Yb, two equivalent Pt, and five Ge atoms.

YbPtGe2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Yb sites. In the first Yb site, Yb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pt and ten Ge atoms. All Yb–Pt bond lengths are 3.24 Å. There are a spread of Yb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.30–3.42 Å. In the second Yb site, Yb is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pt and nine Ge atoms. There are four shorter (3.24 Å) and two longer (3.30 Å) Yb–Pt bond lengths. There are a spread of Yb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.01–3.56 Å. Pt is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to five Yb and five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.51–2.64 Å. There are three inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to five Yb and two equivalent Pt atoms. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six Yb, two equivalent Pt, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.42 Å. In the third Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four Yb, three equivalent Pt, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.64 Å.

Materials Data on Yb3Ge13Pt4 by Materials Project

Yb3Pt4Ge13 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4_2cm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Yb sites. In the first Yb site, Yb is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pt and twelve Ge atoms. All Yb–Pt bond lengths are 3.24 Å. There are a spread of Yb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.25–3.30 Å. In the second Yb site, Yb is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Pt and twelve Ge atoms. All Yb–Pt bond lengths are 3.22 Å. There are a spread of Yb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.01–3.45 Å. In the third Yb site, Yb is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four Pt and twelve Ge atoms. There are a spread of Yb–Pt bond distances ranging from 3.16–3.26 Å. There are a spread of Yb–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.04–3.52 Å. There are two inequivalent Pt sites. In the first Pt site, Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three Yb and six Ge atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.55–2.58 Å. In the second Pt site, Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three Yb and six Ge atoms. There are a spread of Pt–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.50–2.61 Å. There are nine inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Yb, two Pt, and two Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.62 Å) and one longer (2.67 Å) Ge–Ge bond lengths. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three Yb, two equivalent Pt, and two equivalent Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.81 Å) and one longer (2.87 Å) Ge–Ge bond lengths. In the third Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three Yb, two equivalent Pt, and two Ge atoms. There are one shorter (2.69 Å) and one longer (2.80 Å) Ge–Ge bond lengths. In the fourth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six Ge atoms. There are a spread of Ge–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.53–2.82 Å. In the fifth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Yb, two Pt, and two Ge atoms. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.73 Å. In the sixth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to three Yb, two equivalent Pt, and two Ge atoms. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.68 Å. In the seventh Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three Yb, two equivalent Pt, and two Ge atoms. In the eighth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three Yb, two equivalent Pt, and one Ge atom. In the ninth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three Yb, two equivalent Pt, and two Ge atoms.
