Materials Data on GdNiPb by Materials Project
GdNiPb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Gd is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Ni and six equivalent Pb atoms. There are a spread of Gd–Ni bond distances ranging from 3.07–3.21 Å. There are a spread of Gd–Pb bond distances ranging from 3.24–3.38 Å. Ni is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Gd and four equivalent Pb atoms. There are a spread of Ni–Pb bond distances ranging from 2.70–2.97 Å. Pb is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Gd and four equivalent Ni atoms.
