Materials Data on Ga2CoNi by Materials Project

CoNiGa2 is Heusler-like structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Co is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ga atoms. All Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.50 Å. Ni is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Ga atoms. All Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.52 Å. Ga is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Co and four equivalent Ni atoms.

Materials Data on Ga2CoNi by Materials Project

CoNiGa2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CoNiGa2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.37 Å. Ni is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both Ni–Ga bond lengths are 2.29 Å. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to one Co and one Ni atom.
