Materials Data on MgGaPd2 by Materials Project

MgPd2Ga is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Mg is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pd atoms. All Mg–Pd bond lengths are 2.71 Å. Pd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Mg and four equivalent Ga atoms. All Pd–Ga bond lengths are 2.71 Å. Ga is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pd atoms.

Mg is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Pd and four equivalent Ga atoms. All Mg–Pd bond lengths are 2.83 Å. All Mg–Ga bond lengths are 2.83 Å. Pd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Mg atoms. Ga is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Mg atoms.

Materials Data on Mg2GaPd by Materials Project

Mg2PdGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2PdGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd and one Ga atom. The Mg–Pd bond length is 2.48 Å. The Mg–Ga bond length is 2.96 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
