Materials Data on Sc2GaHg by Materials Project
Sc2HgGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Sc2HgGa ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to one Hg and one Ga atom. The Sc–Hg bond length is 3.09 Å. The Sc–Ga bond length is 2.66 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms.
