Materials Data on FeMo2 by Materials Project
Mo2Fe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Fmmm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of four Mo2Fe ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mo is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Fe atoms. Both Mo–Fe bond lengths are 2.61 Å. Fe is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Mo atoms.
