Materials Data on LiFePt2 by Materials Project
LiFePt2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiFePt2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Li–Pt bond lengths are 2.53 Å. Fe3+ is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pt2- atoms. Both Fe–Pt bond lengths are 2.23 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li1+ and one Fe3+ atom.
