Materials Data on Eu2CdSn by Materials Project
Eu2CdSn is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Eu is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Cd and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Eu–Cd bond lengths are 3.44 Å. All Eu–Sn bond lengths are 3.44 Å. Cd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Eu atoms. Sn is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Eu atoms.
