Materials Data on YbEuPt2 by Materials Project
YbEuPt2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Yb2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Yb–Pt bond lengths are 3.05 Å. Eu2+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pt2- atoms. All Eu–Pt bond lengths are 3.05 Å. Pt2- is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Yb2+ and four equivalent Eu2+ atoms.
