Materials Data on Er4Al by Materials Project
Er4Al is Iron carbide-like structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is zero-dimensional and consists of eight Er4Al clusters. Er is bonded in a single-bond geometry to one Al atom. The Er–Al bond length is 2.76 Å. Al is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent Er atoms.
