Materials Data on DyTeAs by Materials Project
DyAsTe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy3+ is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent As1- and five equivalent Te2- atoms. There are a spread of Dy–As bond distances ranging from 3.01–3.16 Å. There are a spread of Dy–Te bond distances ranging from 3.12–3.24 Å. As1- is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy3+ and two equivalent As1- atoms. Both As–As bond lengths are 2.63 Å. Te2- is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Dy3+ atoms.
