Materials Data on DyPt3 by Materials Project

DyPt3 is Uranium Silicide structured and crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded to twelve equivalent Pt atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing DyPt12 cuboctahedra. All Dy–Pt bond lengths are 2.91 Å. Pt is bonded in a distorted square co-planar geometry to four equivalent Dy atoms.

Materials Data on DyPt2 by Materials Project

DyPt2 is Cubic Laves structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Pt atoms. All Dy–Pt bond lengths are 3.19 Å. Pt is bonded to six equivalent Dy and six equivalent Pt atoms to form a mixture of corner, edge, and face-sharing PtDy6Pt6 cuboctahedra. All Pt–Pt bond lengths are 2.72 Å.

Materials Data on DyPt by Materials Project

DyPt is alpha-derived structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Pt atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.87–3.03 Å. Pt is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Dy atoms.

Materials Data on Dy2Pt by Materials Project

Dy2Pt is Cotunnite structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Dy sites. In the first Dy site, Dy is bonded to four equivalent Pt atoms to form a mixture of edge and corner-sharing DyPt4 tetrahedra. There are one shorter (2.90 Å) and three longer (2.95 Å) Dy–Pt bond lengths. In the second Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Pt atoms. There are one shorter (2.84 Å) and two longer (3.07 Å) Dy–Pt bond lengths. Pt is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to seven Dy atoms.

Materials Data on Dy3Pt by Materials Project

Dy3Pt is Cementite structured and crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Dy sites. In the first Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Pt atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.85–3.38 Å. In the second Dy site, Dy is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to two equivalent Pt atoms. There are one shorter (2.81 Å) and one longer (2.90 Å) Dy–Pt bond lengths. Pt is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to eight Dy atoms.

Materials Data on Dy5Pt3 by Materials Project

Dy5Pt3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Dy sites. In the first Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six Pt atoms. There are two shorter (3.03 Å) and four longer (3.04 Å) Dy–Pt bond lengths. In the second Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five Pt atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.90–3.30 Å. In the third Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five Pt atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.90–3.30 Å. There are two inequivalent Pt sites. In the first Pt site, Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine Dy atoms. In the second Pt site, Pt is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine Dy atoms.

Materials Data on Dy3Pt4 by Materials Project

Dy3Pt4 crystallizes in the trigonal R-3 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine Pt atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Pt bond distances ranging from 2.86–3.35 Å. There are three inequivalent Pt sites. In the first Pt site, Pt is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Dy atoms. In the second Pt site, Pt is bonded in a distorted octahedral geometry to six equivalent Dy atoms. In the third Pt site, Pt is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to seven equivalent Dy and three equivalent Pt atoms. There are one shorter (2.91 Å) and two longer (2.96 Å) Pt–Pt bond lengths.
