DyP5O14 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Dy3+ sites. In the first Dy3+ site, Dy3+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Dy–O bond distances ranging from 2.34–2.38 Å. In the second Dy3+ site, Dy3+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of Dy–O bond distances ranging from 2.30–2.42 Å. There are five inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.48–1.66 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing PO4 tetrahedra. There is one shorter (1.47 Å) and three longer (1.58 Å) P–O bond length. Dy(PO3)3 crystallizes in the monoclinic Cc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy3+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form DyO6 octahedra that share corners with six PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Dy–O bond distances ranging from 2.23–2.30 Å. There are three inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent DyO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 20–27°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.50–1.60 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent DyO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 13–19°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.49–1.60 Å. In the third P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent DyO6 octahedra and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 27–37°. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.50–1.61 Å. There are nine inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. Materials Data on DyPO4 by Materials Project

DyPO4 is Zircon structured and crystallizes in the tetragonal I4_1/amd space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy3+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent O2- atoms. There are four shorter (2.33 Å) and four longer (2.39 Å) Dy–O bond lengths. P5+ is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four equivalent O2- atoms. All P–O bond lengths are 1.55 Å. O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Dy3+ and one P5+ atom.

Dy2P4O13 crystallizes in the orthorhombic C222_1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy3+ is bonded to seven O2- atoms to form DyO7 pentagonal bipyramids that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra, edges with two equivalent DyO7 pentagonal bipyramids, and an edgeedge with one PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Dy–O bond distances ranging from 2.23–2.52 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent DyO7 pentagonal bipyramids, a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra, and an edgeedge with one DyO7 pentagonal bipyramid. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.63 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent DyO7 pentagonal bipyramids and corners with two PO4 tetrahedra. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the eighth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. In the ninth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. In the tenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. In the eleventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. In the twelfth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. In the thirteenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. In the fourteenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. In the fifteenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom. In the sixteenth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 150 degrees geometry to one Dy3+ and one P5+ atom.
