Materials Data on Dy(GeRh)2 by Materials Project

Dy(RhGe)2 crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight equivalent Rh and eight equivalent Ge atoms. All Dy–Rh bond lengths are 3.32 Å. All Dy–Ge bond lengths are 3.19 Å. Rh is bonded to four equivalent Dy and four equivalent Ge atoms to form a mixture of distorted edge, face, and corner-sharing RhDy4Ge4 tetrahedra. All Rh–Ge bond lengths are 2.46 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy, four equivalent Rh, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.52 Å.

Materials Data on Dy2Ge5Rh3 by Materials Project

Dy2Rh3Ge5 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to six Rh and ten Ge atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Rh bond distances ranging from 3.19–3.57 Å. There are a spread of Dy–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.04–3.40 Å. There are two inequivalent Rh sites. In the first Rh site, Rh is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy and six Ge atoms. There are a spread of Rh–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.51–2.74 Å. In the second Rh site, Rh is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy and five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Rh–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.42–2.57 Å. There are four inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy and four equivalent Rh atoms. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy, three Rh, and four Ge atoms. There are two shorter (2.69 Å) and two longer (2.96 Å) Ge–Ge bond lengths. In the third Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy, three Rh, and two Ge atoms. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.70 Å. In the fourth Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy, three Rh, and four Ge atoms.

Materials Data on DyGeRh by Materials Project

DyRhGe crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Rh and five equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Rh bond distances ranging from 3.00–3.35 Å. There are a spread of Dy–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.03–3.05 Å. Rh is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Dy and four equivalent Ge atoms. There are a spread of Rh–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.56–2.63 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Dy and four equivalent Rh atoms.

Materials Data on Dy3Ge13Rh4 by Materials Project

Dy3Rh4Ge13 crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3n space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Rh and twelve equivalent Ge atoms. All Dy–Rh bond lengths are 3.19 Å. There are eight shorter (3.13 Å) and four longer (3.22 Å) Dy–Ge bond lengths. Rh is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Dy and six equivalent Ge atoms. All Rh–Ge bond lengths are 2.50 Å. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Dy, two equivalent Rh, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 3.10 Å. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a cuboctahedral geometry to twelve equivalent Ge atoms.

Materials Data on Dy3(GeRh)2 by Materials Project

Dy3(RhGe)2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pbcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Dy sites. In the first Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Rh and five Ge atoms. There are two shorter (3.03 Å) and two longer (3.07 Å) Dy–Rh bond lengths. There are a spread of Dy–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.01–3.31 Å. In the second Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 7-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Rh and five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Dy–Rh bond distances ranging from 2.91–3.15 Å. There are a spread of Dy–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.00–3.36 Å. Rh is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six Dy and three Ge atoms. There are a spread of Rh–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.54–2.62 Å. There are two inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to seven Dy and two equivalent Rh atoms. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to eight Dy and four equivalent Rh atoms.

Materials Data on Dy4Ge6Rh7 by Materials Project

Dy4Rh7Ge6 crystallizes in the cubic Im-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Dy is bonded to six equivalent Rh and six equivalent Ge atoms to form DyGe6Rh6 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent DyGe6Rh6 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent DyGe6Rh6 cuboctahedra, and faces with two equivalent RhGe6 octahedra. All Dy–Rh bond lengths are 2.98 Å. All Dy–Ge bond lengths are 3.03 Å. There are two inequivalent Rh sites. In the first Rh site, Rh is bonded to six equivalent Ge atoms to form RhGe6 octahedra that share faces with eight equivalent DyGe6Rh6 cuboctahedra. All Rh–Ge bond lengths are 2.70 Å. In the second Rh site, Rh is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy and four equivalent Ge atoms. All Rh–Ge bond lengths are 2.59 Å. Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Dy and five Rh atoms.

Materials Data on Dy5(Ge5Rh2)2 by Materials Project

Dy5(Rh2Ge5)2 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mbm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Dy sites. In the first Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Rh and twelve Ge atoms. All Dy–Rh bond lengths are 3.23 Å. There are eight shorter (3.00 Å) and four longer (3.36 Å) Dy–Ge bond lengths. In the second Dy site, Dy is bonded to four equivalent Rh and eight Ge atoms to form face-sharing DyGe8Rh4 cuboctahedra. All Dy–Rh bond lengths are 3.12 Å. There are a spread of Dy–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.96–3.13 Å. In the third Dy site, Dy is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Rh and ten Ge atoms. All Dy–Rh bond lengths are 3.34 Å. There are a spread of Dy–Ge bond distances ranging from 3.25–3.34 Å. Rh is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five Dy and five Ge atoms. There are a spread of Rh–Ge bond distances ranging from 2.45–2.58 Å. There are three inequivalent Ge sites. In the first Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six Dy, two equivalent Rh, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.46 Å. In the second Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to five Dy, two equivalent Rh, and one Ge atom. The Ge–Ge bond length is 2.57 Å. In the third Ge site, Ge is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to four Dy and two equivalent Rh atoms.
