Materials Data on CuSnAu by Materials Project
AuCuSn crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Au is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Cu and five equivalent Sn atoms. All Au–Cu bond lengths are 2.68 Å. There are one shorter (2.79 Å) and four longer (2.98 Å) Au–Sn bond lengths. Cu is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Au and four equivalent Sn atoms. All Cu–Sn bond lengths are 2.91 Å. Sn is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Au and four equivalent Cu atoms.
