Materials Data on Y2CuNi by Materials Project
Y2NiCu crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Y2NiCu ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Y is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ni and one Cu atom. The Y–Ni bond length is 2.33 Å. The Y–Cu bond length is 2.79 Å. Ni is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Y atoms.
