Materials Data on KCuPO4 by Materials Project

KCuPO4 crystallizes in the monoclinic P2_1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent K1+ sites. In the first K1+ site, K1+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.71–2.91 Å. In the second K1+ site, K1+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.69–3.20 Å. There are two inequivalent Cu2+ sites. In the first Cu2+ site, Cu2+ is bonded in a distorted rectangular see-saw-like geometry to four O2- atoms. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.93–2.02 Å. In the second Cu2+ site, Cu2+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted CuO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with three PO4 tetrahedra and an edgeedge with one PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.93–2.37 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one CuO5 trigonal bipyramid. There is one shorter (1.55 Å) and three longer (1.56 Å) P–O bond length. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent CuO5 trigonal bipyramids and an edgeedge with one CuO5 trigonal bipyramid. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.52–1.62 Å. There are eight inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the seventh O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to two K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the eighth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one K1+, two Cu2+, and one P5+ atom.

K2CuP2O7 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent K1+ sites. In the first K1+ site, K1+ is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine O2- atoms. There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.63–3.29 Å. In the second K1+ site, K1+ is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine O2- atoms. There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.88–3.26 Å. Cu2+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form CuO5 square pyramids that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.97–2.56 Å. There are two inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two equivalent CuO5 square pyramids and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.64 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with three equivalent CuO5 square pyramids and a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.64 Å. There are five inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to three K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to three K1+ and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 120 degrees geometry to three K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a bent 120 degrees geometry to two P5+ atoms. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to three K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom.

Materials Data on KCu4(PO4)3 by Materials Project

KCu4(PO4)3 crystallizes in the triclinic P-1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. K1+ is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine O2- atoms. There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.71–3.33 Å. There are four inequivalent Cu2+ sites. In the first Cu2+ site, Cu2+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted CuO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra and an edgeedge with one CuO5 trigonal bipyramid. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.94–2.42 Å. In the second Cu2+ site, Cu2+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form CuO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra and an edgeedge with one CuO5 trigonal bipyramid. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.91–2.27 Å. In the third Cu2+ site, Cu2+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.95–2.44 Å. In the fourth Cu2+ site, Cu2+ is bonded to five O2- atoms to form distorted CuO5 trigonal bipyramids that share corners with five PO4 tetrahedra and edges with two CuO5 trigonal bipyramids. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.94–2.29 Å. There are three inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with five CuO5 trigonal bipyramids. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.54–1.58 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with five CuO5 trigonal bipyramids. There is two shorter (1.54 Å) and two longer (1.57 Å) P–O bond length. In the third P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share corners with five CuO5 trigonal bipyramids. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.57 Å. There are twelve inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two Cu2+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one K1+, two equivalent Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one K1+, two Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to two equivalent K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to two Cu2+ and one P5+ atom. In the sixth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to one K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the twelfth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted trigonal planar geometry to two equivalent Cu2+ and one P5+ atom.

There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.64–3.27 Å. Cu2+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.95–2.54 Å. P5+ is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four O2- atoms. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.52–1.61 Å. There are four inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to three equivalent K1+ and one P5+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to one K1+, two equivalent Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. K2Cu(PO3)4 crystallizes in the monoclinic Cc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent K1+ sites. In the first K1+ site, K1+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.72–2.98 Å. In the second K1+ site, K1+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.67–3.38 Å. Cu2+ is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Cu–O bond distances ranging from 1.96–2.76 Å. There are four inequivalent P5+ sites. In the first P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.49–1.63 Å. In the second P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.49–1.63 Å. In the third P5+ site, P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing PO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.49–1.63 Å. There are a spread of K–O bond distances ranging from 2.71–3.03 Å. Cu2+ is bonded to four equivalent O2- atoms to form distorted CuO4 trigonal pyramids that share corners with four equivalent PO4 tetrahedra. All Cu–O bond lengths are 1.96 Å. P5+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form PO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one PO4 tetrahedra and corners with two equivalent CuO4 trigonal pyramids. There are a spread of P–O bond distances ranging from 1.51–1.65 Å. There are three inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to two equivalent K1+ and two equivalent P5+ atoms. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two equivalent K1+, one Cu2+, and one P5+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to three equivalent K1+ and one P5+ atom.
