Materials Data on Sc2CuHg by Materials Project

Sc2CuHg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Sc2CuHg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Sc is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cu and one Hg atom. The Sc–Cu bond length is 2.52 Å. The Sc–Hg bond length is 2.92 Å. Cu is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sc atoms.
