Materials Data on CsNaSiO3 by Materials Project

CsNaSiO3 crystallizes in the trigonal R3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are four inequivalent Cs1+ sites. In the first Cs1+ site, Cs1+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent O2- atoms. All Cs–O bond lengths are 3.14 Å. In the second Cs1+ site, Cs1+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent O2- atoms. All Cs–O bond lengths are 3.14 Å. In the third Cs1+ site, Cs1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Cs–O bond distances ranging from 3.06–3.33 Å. In the fourth Cs1+ site, Cs1+ is bonded in a hexagonal planar geometry to six O2- atoms. There are three shorter (3.39 Å) and three longer (3.47 Å) Cs–O bond lengths. Na1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Na–O bond distances ranging from 2.40–2.78 Å. There are two inequivalent Si4+ sites. In the first Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing SiO4 tetrahedra. There is two shorter (1.62 Å) and two longer (1.67 Å) Si–O bond length. In the second Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing SiO4 tetrahedra. There is two shorter (1.62 Å) and two longer (1.67 Å) Si–O bond length. There are five inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to three Cs1+, two equivalent Na1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to three Cs1+, two equivalent Na1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to two Cs1+, two equivalent Na1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the fourth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to two Cs1+, two equivalent Na1+, and one Si4+ atom. In the fifth O2- site, O2- is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to two equivalent Na1+ and two Si4+ atoms.
