Materials Data on TaCrP by Materials Project

TaCrP crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ta is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five equivalent P atoms. There are a spread of Ta–P bond distances ranging from 2.59–2.69 Å. Cr is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent P atoms. There are two shorter (2.33 Å) and two longer (2.40 Å) Cr–P bond lengths. P is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to five equivalent Ta and four equivalent Cr atoms.
