Materials Data on La2CoIr by Materials Project
La2IrCo crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two La2IrCo ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. La is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ir and one Co atom. The La–Ir bond length is 2.47 Å. The La–Co bond length is 2.24 Å. Ir is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent La atoms.
