Materials Data on Nd2Co2I by Materials Project
Nd2Co2I crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Nd is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Co and three equivalent I atoms. All Nd–Co bond lengths are 2.95 Å. All Nd–I bond lengths are 3.44 Å. Co is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Nd and three equivalent Co atoms. All Co–Co bond lengths are 2.30 Å. I is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Nd atoms.
