Materials Data on LiGa2Co by Materials Project

LiCoGa2 is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Li is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to six equivalent Co and eight equivalent Ga atoms. All Li–Co bond lengths are 2.95 Å. All Li–Ga bond lengths are 2.55 Å. Co is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Li and eight equivalent Ga atoms. All Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.55 Å. Ga is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Li and four equivalent Co atoms.

Materials Data on LiGa2Co by Materials Project

LiCoGa2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two LiCoGa2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both Li–Ga bond lengths are 2.72 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ga atoms. Both Co–Ga bond lengths are 2.32 Å. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li and one Co atom.
