Materials Data on Cs2HCl by Materials Project
Cs2HCl crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Cs2HCl ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Cs1+ is bonded in a linear geometry to one H1- and one Cl1- atom. The Cs–H bond length is 2.77 Å. The Cs–Cl bond length is 3.23 Å. H1- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cs1+ atoms. Cl1- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Cs1+ atoms.
