Materials Data on CeAu2 by Materials Project
CeAu2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Imma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to twelve equivalent Au atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Au bond distances ranging from 3.21–3.44 Å. Au is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and four equivalent Au atoms. There are a spread of Au–Au bond distances ranging from 2.76–3.01 Å.
