Materials Data on Ce2(SbPd3)3 by Materials Project

Ce2(Pd3Sb)3 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Cmcm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to eleven Pd and six Sb atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.06–3.62 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Sb bond distances ranging from 3.48–3.61 Å. There are four inequivalent Pd sites. In the first Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ce, eight Pd, and three Sb atoms. There are a spread of Pd–Pd bond distances ranging from 2.83–3.21 Å. There are one shorter (2.70 Å) and two longer (2.85 Å) Pd–Sb bond lengths. In the second Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ce, seven Pd, and two equivalent Sb atoms. There are one shorter (2.89 Å) and two longer (2.97 Å) Pd–Pd bond lengths. Both Pd–Sb bond lengths are 2.62 Å. In the third Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Ce, six Pd, and three Sb atoms. There are a spread of Pd–Pd bond distances ranging from 2.84–3.26 Å. There are a spread of Pd–Sb bond distances ranging from 2.66–2.90 Å. In the fourth Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Ce, eight Pd, and two equivalent Sb atoms. Both Pd–Sb bond lengths are 2.64 Å. There are two inequivalent Sb sites. In the first Sb site, Sb is bonded to four equivalent Ce and eight Pd atoms to form distorted face-sharing SbCe4Pd8 cuboctahedra. In the second Sb site, Sb is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce and eight Pd atoms.

Materials Data on Ce8SbPd24 by Materials Project

Ce8Pd24Sb crystallizes in the cubic Pm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded to twelve Pd atoms to form CePd12 cuboctahedra that share corners with twelve equivalent CePd12 cuboctahedra, edges with six equivalent PdCe4Pd8 cuboctahedra, faces with three equivalent PdCe4Pd8 cuboctahedra, faces with six equivalent CePd12 cuboctahedra, and a faceface with one SbPd6 octahedra. There are a spread of Ce–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.01–3.04 Å. There are three inequivalent Pd sites. In the first Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce and one Sb atom. The Pd–Sb bond length is 2.69 Å. In the second Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Ce and two equivalent Pd atoms. Both Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.93 Å. In the third Pd site, Pd is bonded to four equivalent Ce and eight Pd atoms to form distorted PdCe4Pd8 cuboctahedra that share edges with eight equivalent CePd12 cuboctahedra, faces with four equivalent CePd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with six equivalent PdCe4Pd8 cuboctahedra. All Pd–Pd bond lengths are 2.94 Å. Sb is bonded to six equivalent Pd atoms to form SbPd6 octahedra that share faces with eight equivalent CePd12 cuboctahedra.

Materials Data on Ce3Sb5Pd6 by Materials Project

Ce3Pd6Sb5 crystallizes in the monoclinic Pm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are six inequivalent Ce sites. In the first Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to eight Pd and six Sb atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.23–3.67 Å. There are four shorter (3.29 Å) and two longer (3.32 Å) Ce–Sb bond lengths. In the second Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to eight Pd and six Sb atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.24–3.66 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Sb bond distances ranging from 3.28–3.32 Å. In the third Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to eight Pd and six Sb atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.23–3.66 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Sb bond distances ranging from 3.28–3.32 Å. In the fourth Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to ten Pd and six Sb atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.37–3.64 Å. There are two shorter (3.28 Å) and four longer (3.33 Å) Ce–Sb bond lengths. In the fifth Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to ten Pd and six Sb atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.37–3.64 Å. There are two shorter (3.27 Å) and four longer (3.33 Å) Ce–Sb bond lengths. In the sixth Ce site, Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to eight Pd and six Sb atoms. There are a spread of Ce–Pd bond distances ranging from 3.23–3.66 Å. There are a spread of Ce–Sb bond distances ranging from 3.28–3.32 Å. There are twelve inequivalent Pd sites. In the ninth Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four Ce, two equivalent Pd, and four Sb atoms. There are a spread of Pd–Sb bond distances ranging from 2.69–2.73 Å. In the tenth Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to five Ce, one Pd, and four Sb atoms. There are a spread of Pd–Sb bond distances ranging from 2.60–2.73 Å. In the eleventh Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four Ce, four Pd, and four Sb atoms. Both Pd–Pd bond lengths are 3.05 Å. There are a spread of Pd–Sb bond distances ranging from 2.69–2.80 Å. In the twelfth Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to four Ce, two equivalent Pd, and four Sb atoms. There are a spread of Pd–Sb bond distances ranging from 2.69–2.74 Å. There are ten inequivalent Sb sites. In the first Sb site, Sb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to three Ce and five Pd atoms. In the second Sb site, Sb is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to four Ce and five Pd atoms. In the third Sb site, Sb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four Ce and four Pd atoms. In the fourth Sb site, Sb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to three Ce and five Pd atoms. In the fifth Sb site, Sb is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to four Ce and four Pd atoms. Materials Data on CeSbPd by Materials Project

CePdSb is hexagonal omega structure-derived structured and crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3/mmc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded to six equivalent Pd and six equivalent Sb atoms to form a mixture of edge and face-sharing CeSb6Pd6 cuboctahedra. All Ce–Pd bond lengths are 3.32 Å. All Ce–Sb bond lengths are 3.32 Å. Pd is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and three equivalent Sb atoms. All Pd–Sb bond lengths are 2.67 Å. Sb is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and three equivalent Pd atoms.

CePdSb crystallizes in the hexagonal P6_3mc space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Ce is bonded in a 12-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pd and six equivalent Sb atoms. There are three shorter (3.03 Å) and three longer (3.64 Å) Ce–Pd bond lengths. There are three shorter (3.23 Å) and three longer (3.39 Å) Ce–Sb bond lengths. Pd is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and four equivalent Sb atoms. There are three shorter (2.79 Å) and one longer (3.14 Å) Pd–Sb bond lengths. Sb is bonded in a 10-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Ce and four equivalent Pd atoms.

Materials Data on CeSb2Pd by Materials Project

CePdSb2 crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mmm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of one CePdSb2 ribbon oriented in the (0, 0, 1) direction. Ce3+ is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pd2+ and one Sb+2.50- atom. The Ce–Pd bond length is 2.29 Å. The Ce–Sb bond length is 2.80 Å. Pd2+ is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ce3+ and one Sb+2.50- atom. The Pd–Sb bond length is 2.52 Å. There are three inequivalent Sb+2.50- sites. In the first Sb+2.50- site, Sb+2.50- is bonded in a distorted single-bond geometry to one Ce3+ and one Sb+2.50- atom. The Sb–Sb bond length is 2.71 Å. In the second Sb+2.50- site, Sb+2.50- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Sb+2.50- atoms. In the third Sb+2.50- site, Sb+2.50- is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd2+ atoms.
