Materials Data on CdSnPd2 by Materials Project
Pd2CdSn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Pd2CdSn ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Sn atom. The Pd–Cd bond length is 2.71 Å. The Pd–Sn bond length is 2.46 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Sn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms.
