Materials Data on CdPd2Au by Materials Project

Pd2AuCd is Heusler structured and crystallizes in the cubic Fm-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pd is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to four equivalent Au and four equivalent Cd atoms. All Pd–Au bond lengths are 2.82 Å. All Pd–Cd bond lengths are 2.82 Å. Au is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pd and six equivalent Cd atoms. All Au–Cd bond lengths are 3.25 Å. Cd is bonded in a distorted body-centered cubic geometry to eight equivalent Pd and six equivalent Au atoms.

Materials Data on CdPd2Au by Materials Project

Pd2AuCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Pd2AuCd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Cd atom. The Pd–Au bond length is 2.56 Å. The Pd–Cd bond length is 2.64 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Pd atoms.
