Materials Data on Pr2CdPd2 by Materials Project

Pr2Pd2Cd crystallizes in the tetragonal P4/mbm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pd and four equivalent Cd atoms. There are two shorter (2.97 Å) and four longer (3.12 Å) Pr–Pd bond lengths. All Pr–Cd bond lengths are 3.52 Å. Pd is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pr, one Pd, and two equivalent Cd atoms. The Pd–Pd bond length is 2.83 Å. Both Pd–Cd bond lengths are 3.10 Å. Cd is bonded to eight equivalent Pr and four equivalent Pd atoms to form a mixture of face and corner-sharing CdPr8Pd4 cuboctahedra.

Materials Data on Pr6Cd4Pd13 by Materials Project

Pr6Pd13Cd4 crystallizes in the cubic Im-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to five Pd atoms. There are four shorter (2.97 Å) and one longer (3.00 Å) Pr–Pd bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Pd sites. In the first Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Pr and two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Pd–Cd bond lengths are 2.79 Å. In the second Pd site, Pd is bonded in an octahedral geometry to six equivalent Pr atoms. Cd is bonded in a distorted hexagonal planar geometry to six equivalent Pd atoms.

Materials Data on PrCdPd by Materials Project

PrPdCd crystallizes in the hexagonal P-62m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 11-coordinate geometry to five Pd and six equivalent Cd atoms. There are four shorter (3.12 Å) and one longer (3.19 Å) Pr–Pd bond lengths. There are two shorter (3.35 Å) and four longer (3.45 Å) Pr–Cd bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Pd sites. In the first Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pr and three equivalent Cd atoms. All Pd–Cd bond lengths are 2.97 Å. In the second Pd site, Pd is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Pr and six equivalent Cd atoms. All Pd–Cd bond lengths are 2.82 Å. Cd is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to six equivalent Pr and four Pd atoms.

Materials Data on Pr4CdPd by Materials Project

Pr4PdCd crystallizes in the cubic F-43m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are three inequivalent Pr sites. In the first Pr site, Pr is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent Pd and three equivalent Cd atoms. All Pr–Pd bond lengths are 2.97 Å. All Pr–Cd bond lengths are 3.57 Å. In the second Pr site, Pr is bonded in a distorted bent 150 degrees geometry to two equivalent Pd and two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Pr–Pd bond lengths are 2.98 Å. Both Pr–Cd bond lengths are 3.63 Å. In the third Pr site, Pr is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Pd and two equivalent Cd atoms. Both Pr–Pd bond lengths are 3.68 Å. Both Pr–Cd bond lengths are 3.46 Å. Pd is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to nine Pr atoms. Cd is bonded to nine Pr and three equivalent Cd atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and face-sharing CdPr9Cd3 cuboctahedra. All Cd–Cd bond lengths are 3.21 Å.

Materials Data on Pr(Cd10Pd)2 by Materials Project

Pr(PdCd10)2 crystallizes in the cubic Fd-3m space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Pr is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to sixteen Cd atoms. There are four shorter (3.46 Å) and twelve longer (3.48 Å) Pr–Cd bond lengths. Pd is bonded to twelve Cd atoms to form PdCd12 cuboctahedra that share corners with six equivalent PdCd12 cuboctahedra, edges with eighteen equivalent CdPrCd10Pd cuboctahedra, and faces with six equivalent CdPrCd10Pd cuboctahedra. There are six shorter (2.83 Å) and six longer (3.14 Å) Pd–Cd bond lengths. There are three inequivalent Cd sites. In the first Cd site, Cd is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to two equivalent Pd and six equivalent Cd atoms. There are two shorter (3.00 Å) and four longer (3.17 Å) Cd–Cd bond lengths. In the second Cd site, Cd is bonded to one Pr, one Pd, and ten Cd atoms to form distorted CdPrCd10Pd cuboctahedra that share corners with fifteen equivalent CdPrCd10Pd cuboctahedra, edges with two equivalent CdPrCd10Pd cuboctahedra, edges with three equivalent PdCd12 cuboctahedra, a faceface with one PdCd12 cuboctahedra, and faces with fifteen equivalent CdPrCd10Pd cuboctahedra. There are a spread of Cd–Cd bond distances ranging from 2.92–3.39 Å. In the third Cd site, Cd is bonded in a distorted linear geometry to two equivalent Pr and twelve equivalent Cd atoms.
