Materials Data on Mg2CdPb by Materials Project
Mg2CdPb crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Mg2CdPb ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Pb atom. The Mg–Cd bond length is 2.83 Å. The Mg–Pb bond length is 2.80 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms. Pb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Mg atoms.
