Materials Data on Li2CdGa by Materials Project
Li2CdGa crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Li2CdGa ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Li is bonded in a linear geometry to one Cd and one Ga atom. The Li–Cd bond length is 2.93 Å. The Li–Ga bond length is 2.70 Å. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Li atoms. Ga is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Li atoms.
