Materials Data on CaPdAu2 by Materials Project
CaPdAu2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CaPdAu2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Ca–Au bond lengths are 2.64 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Pd–Au bond lengths are 2.62 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ca and one Pd atom.
