Materials Data on Ca2MgZn by Materials Project
Ca2MgZn crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ca2MgZn ribbons oriented in the (0, 1, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to one Mg and one Zn atom. The Ca–Mg bond length is 3.62 Å. The Ca–Zn bond length is 3.33 Å. Mg is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Zn is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
