Materials Data on Ca2CdAu by Materials Project
Ca2AuCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Ca2AuCd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to one Au and one Cd atom. The Ca–Au bond length is 2.90 Å. The Ca–Cd bond length is 3.39 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Ca atoms.
