Materials Data on CaHg2Pd by Materials Project

CaPdHg2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two CaPdHg2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Ca is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Ca–Hg bond lengths are 3.21 Å. Pd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Hg atoms. Both Pd–Hg bond lengths are 2.65 Å. Hg is bonded in a linear geometry to one Ca and one Pd atom.
