LiSiBiO4 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Pnma space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Li1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 2.01–2.71 Å. Si4+ is bonded in a tetrahedral geometry to four O2- atoms. There are a spread of Si–O bond distances ranging from 1.63–1.69 Å. Bi3+ is bonded in a 5-coordinate geometry to five O2- atoms. There are a spread of Bi–O bond distances ranging from 2.19–2.51 Å. There are three inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded to two equivalent Li1+, one Si4+, and one Bi3+ atom to form distorted corner-sharing OLi2SiBi trigonal pyramids. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 1-coordinate geometry to two equivalent Li1+, one Si4+, and two equivalent Bi3+ atoms. LiSi3BiO8 crystallizes in the triclinic P1 space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Li1+ sites. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form distorted LiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four SiO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.94–2.05 Å. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form distorted LiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four SiO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.90–2.09 Å. There are six inequivalent Si4+ sites. In the first Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form SiO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one LiO4 tetrahedra and corners with three SiO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Si–O bond distances ranging from 1.61–1.66 Å. In the second Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form SiO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one LiO4 tetrahedra and corners with three SiO4 tetrahedra. There is one shorter (1.58 Å) and three longer (1.67 Å) Si–O bond length. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form LiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four SiO4 tetrahedra and corners with four BiO4 tetrahedra. There are one shorter (1.99 Å) and three longer (2.05 Å) Li–O bond lengths. There are two inequivalent Si4+ sites. In the first Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form SiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four LiO4 tetrahedra and corners with four BiO4 tetrahedra. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form distorted LiO4 trigonal pyramids that share a cornercorner with one BiO6 octahedra, a cornercorner with one LiO6 pentagonal pyramid, a cornercorner with one BiO6 pentagonal pyramid, corners with two equivalent LiO4 tetrahedra, corners with four SiO4 tetrahedra, and an edgeedge with one BiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 72°. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.90–2.46 Å. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form distorted LiO4 tetrahedra that share a cornercorner with one BiO6 octahedra, a cornercorner with one LiO6 pentagonal pyramid, a cornercorner with one BiO6 pentagonal pyramid, corners with four SiO4 tetrahedra, corners with two equivalent LiO4 trigonal pyramids, and an edgeedge with one BiO6 octahedra. The corner-sharing octahedral tilt angles are 72°. There are a spread of Li–O bond distances ranging from 1.90–2.41 Å. In the third Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a 6-coordinate geometry to six O2- atoms. There are three shorter (2.57 Å) and three longer (2.60 Å) Li–O bond lengths. In the fourth Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form distorted LiO6 pentagonal pyramids that share corners with three equivalent LiO4 tetrahedra, corners with six SiO4 tetrahedra, corners with three equivalent LiO4 trigonal pyramids, and faces with two BiO6 octahedra. There are three shorter (2.47 Å) and three longer (2.50 Å) Li–O bond lengths. In the fifth Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a trigonal planar geometry to three equivalent O2- atoms. All Li–O bond lengths are 2.16 Å. There are two inequivalent Si4+ sites. In the first Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form SiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two BiO6 octahedra, a cornercorner with one LiO6 pentagonal pyramid, a cornercorner with one BiO6 pentagonal pyramid, a cornercorner with one SiO4 tetrahedra, corners with three equivalent LiO4 tetrahedra, and a cornercorner with one LiO4 trigonal pyramid. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 47–55°. There is three shorter (1.64 Å) and one longer (1.71 Å) Si–O bond length. In the second Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form SiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with two BiO6 octahedra, a cornercorner with one LiO6 pentagonal pyramid, a cornercorner with one BiO6 pentagonal pyramid, a cornercorner with one LiO4 tetrahedra, a cornercorner with one SiO4 tetrahedra, and corners with three equivalent LiO4 trigonal pyramids. The corner-sharing octahedra tilt angles range from 49–56°. There is three shorter (1.64 Å) and one longer (1.70 Å) Si–O bond length. There are three inequivalent Bi3+ sites. In the first Bi3+ site, Bi3+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form BiO6 octahedra that share corners with six SiO4 tetrahedra, corners with three equivalent LiO4 trigonal pyramids, edges with three equivalent LiO4 tetrahedra, and a faceface with one LiO6 pentagonal pyramid. There are three shorter (2.34 Å) and three longer (2.37 Å) Bi–O bond lengths. In the second Bi3+ site, Bi3+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form BiO6 octahedra that share corners with three equivalent LiO4 tetrahedra, corners with six SiO4 tetrahedra, edges with three equivalent LiO4 trigonal pyramids, and a faceface with one LiO6 pentagonal pyramid. There are three shorter (2.34 Å) and three longer (2.36 Å) Bi–O bond lengths. In the third Bi3+ site, Bi3+ is bonded to six O2- atoms to form distorted BiO6 pentagonal pyramids that share corners with three equivalent LiO4 tetrahedra, corners with six SiO4 tetrahedra, and corners with three equivalent LiO4 trigonal pyramids. There are three shorter (2.37 Å) and three longer (2.38 Å) Bi–O bond lengths. There are seven inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two Li1+, one Si4+, and one Bi3+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 2-coordinate geometry to two Li1+, one Si4+, and one Bi3+ atom. In the third O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to two Li1+, one Si4+, and one Bi3+ atom. Materials Data on LiSi6BiO14 by Materials Project

LiSi6BiO14 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Ibam space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Li1+ sites. In the first Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a 8-coordinate geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are four shorter (2.16 Å) and four longer (2.72 Å) Li–O bond lengths. In the second Li1+ site, Li1+ is bonded in a body-centered cubic geometry to eight O2- atoms. There are four shorter (2.59 Å) and four longer (2.61 Å) Li–O bond lengths. There are four inequivalent Si4+ sites. In the first Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing SiO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Si–O bond distances ranging from 1.62–1.64 Å. In the second Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing SiO4 tetrahedra. All Si–O bond lengths are 1.63 Å. In the third Si4+ site, Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form corner-sharing SiO4 tetrahedra. There are a spread of Si–O bond distances ranging from 1.60–1.67 Å. LiSiBiO4 crystallizes in the trigonal P31c space group. The structure is three-dimensional. Li1+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form LiO4 trigonal pyramids that share corners with four equivalent SiO4 tetrahedra. There is one shorter (1.87 Å) and three longer (1.94 Å) Li–O bond length. Si4+ is bonded to four O2- atoms to form SiO4 tetrahedra that share corners with four equivalent LiO4 trigonal pyramids. There is one shorter (1.61 Å) and three longer (1.66 Å) Si–O bond length. Bi3+ is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to three equivalent O2- atoms. All Bi–O bond lengths are 2.17 Å. There are two inequivalent O2- sites. In the first O2- site, O2- is bonded in a 3-coordinate geometry to one Li1+, one Si4+, and one Bi3+ atom. In the second O2- site, O2- is bonded in a linear geometry to one Li1+ and one Si4+ atom.
