Materials Data on BeNbCo2 by Materials Project
BeNbCo2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BeNbCo2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Be–Co bond lengths are 2.27 Å. Nb is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Nb–Co bond lengths are 2.05 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one Nb atom.
