Materials Data on BeCo2B by Materials Project
BeCo2B crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BeCo2B ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Be–Co bond lengths are 2.20 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one B atom. The Co–B bond length is 1.82 Å. B is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms.
