Materials Data on BeAlCo2 by Materials Project
BeCo2Al crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two BeCo2Al ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms. Both Be–Co bond lengths are 2.19 Å. Co is bonded in a linear geometry to one Be and one Al atom. The Co–Al bond length is 2.38 Å. Al is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Co atoms.
