Materials Data on Be2CdPt by Materials Project
Be2PtCd crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Be2PtCd ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Cd atom. The Be–Pt bond length is 2.06 Å. The Be–Cd bond length is 2.41 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms. Cd is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms.
