Materials Data on Be2AgPt by Materials Project
Be2PtAg crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two Be2PtAg ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Be is bonded in a linear geometry to one Pt and one Ag atom. The Be–Pt bond length is 2.06 Å. The Be–Ag bond length is 2.28 Å. Pt is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms. Ag is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Be atoms.
