Materials Data on BaNaAu2 by Materials Project
NaBaAu2 crystallizes in the orthorhombic Immm space group. The structure is one-dimensional and consists of two NaBaAu2 ribbons oriented in the (1, 0, 0) direction. Na is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Na–Au bond lengths are 2.86 Å. Ba is bonded in a linear geometry to two equivalent Au atoms. Both Ba–Au bond lengths are 3.06 Å. Au is bonded in a linear geometry to one Na and one Ba atom.
